Sophia Anastasia

Sophia Anastasia Cook is the name of my beautiful daughter, she came into this world on February 22nd weighing 7 pounds 13 ounces and 21 inches long. It was a crazy yet beautiful experience watching her grow in her mommys tummy, to seeing her beautiful face. As they say theres no love like a parents love. I strongly believe this. Sophia brings so much joy to me and her mommy and every moment experienced with her is cherished. It's crazy how much she grows everyday, it seems like just yesterday i was with her at the hospital feeding her little bottles. Im so excited to experience life with her. She's my precious angel and i would not trade her for anything.

Barton

Its crazy that the semester is almost over, its as if it has only been a couple of months and some how we've reached the end of the year. Im so thankful for the opportunity that I'm allowed to participate in college activities, this is awesome. Ive learned alot and experienced alot being here. Barton College may be small, but it has made a huge impact in my life.

Beiber and Salena

Justin Beiber and Selena Gomez are back together it seems! After being broken up for some time now, an instagram picture that just was released to the public from Salena Gomez's instagram seems to indicate that theyre back together. We'll see where they end up in the future..haha

I finally recorded my very first wedding. It was definitely an interesting and fun experience. I left to go to film in Beaufort N.C. around 10 A.m. and arrived around 12 P.M. there were several scenes in this wedding it wasnt just them walking down the isle but from the moment the Bride was getting ready, the Groomsmen were getting ready. The Groom had his father and mother in the room assisting him get ready. The wedding was over all beautiful, and im excited that im able to put this wedding under my belt. :)

Boston Marathon

I really cant believe that their are still bombings occuring in the United States and ridiculous things which may or may not stem from "terrorism" or Al- Queada". It saddens me that we live in a world where people intentionally murder and physically hurt humans beings similar to themselves. The world is a crazy place, i just hope and pray that when my Daughter gets older, life will be more peaceful. I'm proud to be an American i wish citizens of this country were as well.

The Meaning of Easter

The meaning of easter in american traditions dates back to the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the celebration of this matter. While German Pagonists celebrate Sex and Fertillity. The German Paganists believed in a Goddess named Ēostre who they believe is the original individual who birthed the name Easter.

Apparently Ēostre used to host feasts in celebration of fertility with the Pagan Anglo Saxons until it was replaced by the Christian celebration of easter, according to Bede whom was an english monk of Northumbrian monastery of Saint Peter. 

 Also in Europe celebrations of Rabbits and Hares often take place due to Folk customs in england.

I strongly believe you should pursue your dreams.

I strongly believe you should pursue your dreams. There are several people in the world who were rejected or turned down but continued to do what they loved and became successful such as Stephen Spielberg: who was rejected from the University of Southern California School of Theater, Film and Television three times. He eventually attended school at another location, only to drop out to become a director before finishing.   Oprah Winfrey: Oprah faced an abusive childhood as well as numerous career setbacks including being fired from her job as a television reporter because she was "unfit for tv." Now shes on everything. Even michael jordan was cut from his highschool basketball team and in his own words he said "I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed." Dont let anything hold u back from your dreams

Barton News

It seems these days Fraternitys and Sororities are facing more then just pledging and group events that causes stress, its the sisterhood and brotherhood thats been slacking. Certain ex greek members who's  names will be left annonmous have publicly exposed their fraternity/ sorority for not maintaining the brotherly or sisterly vibe.  Sadly several individuals felt left out or un-included and felt the need to leave and save money instead of paying a monthly fee towards something they felt forced to do rather than it be of voluntarily nature.

Work Work

 We only live so long in this place we call earth. During my time here I'd love to experience a variety of work and make an impact while doing so.

  First off I'd like to work for some type news station weather it be WRAL, CBS, CNN, etc. Working some where in that field would bring a different atmosphere to what I'm currently used to. Many individuals watch the news so that would be my starting point for my career.

  I'd also like to work for a hip hop radio station, or branch off from that and create my own. So many radio stations play the same songs over and over and over again, but if i created my own it would consist of unheard music and a variety of awesomeness.

Thirdly and most importantly I'd love to work for an entertainment station in the media such as MTV or BET even CMT. The experience would be magnificent, i have a passion for the celebrity life and being involved some how, and even being a host on a show within one of these stations would be ideal.
      Fourth it'd be quite interesting to be a celebrities personal cinematographer, travel the globe with them and record their every move, every concert performance etc.

      I would also love to work with something involving photography, not necessarily a freelance photographer either. Photography speaks more then a thousand words to me, actually capturing a moment that will never be seen again by the human eye is remarkably priceless and beautiful.
